2008 REUNION INFORMATION

• Vacation days have been requested
• Airline tickets are being purchased
• The YMCA deposit has been turned in
• The high altitude meds have been ordered?!?!?!? The high altitude medicine that worked well for Jack when he visited Stanten was: ACETAZOLAMIDE 250 MG TABLETS.
• And, we are counting down to the 2008 Sikes Family Reunion....2 weeks and counting!!!!

ESTIMATED COSTS:

Reunion Lodge Users Fee: for each person attending reunion (all ages)-whether staying offsite or onsite: $62

Pattie Hyde Barclay Sleeping Fee: for each person staying/sleeping at PHB (all ages): $58 Bedding/Towels provided. There are small wooden cribs and futons available. Some children will need to use these or possibly bring sleeping bags/pillows. Remember you'll be sharing your room with others!

Food Fee per Person: (to be determined at Reunion by dividing up food receipts by # of people eating); For estimating purposes, $24 for the entire reunion (Tues. dinner/Sat. breakfast count as one day).

Additional Expenses: shopping, eating out (lunches), golf, go-carts, movies, more shopping, family pics, "Christmas in July" Silent Auction....

I want to extend an invitation to anyone that may not want to stay up at Estes Park to commute to Frederick (drive time - at least an hour - not much more) and stay at my place. It is quite a bit lower in altitude and may also be suited to some who may want a little more privacy - I've got two bedrooms (Queen beds in each) and a fold out couch...Reservations are on a first-come-first-served basis -- but priority goes to those wanting an alternative to the higher altitude of Estes Park."
